Christian Murray is a performer, writer and director and has worked in stage, film and television for the past 30 years. He was born and is based in Halifax Nova Scotia. He is a protege of American master director, teacher and mime Tony Montanaro and co-founder of Jest in Time Theatre, a groundbreaking physical theatre ensemble that toured nationally and internationally for 20 years. He received a Gemini Award and two Canadian Comedy awards for his writing work on 22 Minutes and he was short listed for a CBC Literary award in 2006 for his short story Frost. Christian has won two Theatre Nova Scotia Merritt Awards and has been nominated for five others for playwriting and acting.
